All those stupid things you did

hang around for years

but in friendly countries

young men disappear




from writing loaded poetry

at university

complaining about the oligarchs

lack of dignity




those friends of the CIA

in shadows and in fear

stalk the university campus

for those that interfere




poets are such a danger

to a civilising state

words written from the heart

so often agitate
