MPs pay and conditions

MPs pay should they vote
have their noses in the trough
and get themselves a stonking rise
when others find it bloody tough.

No, their pay it should be linked
to civil service pay grade three
and any cut they choose to enforce
should hit them all equally

they should serve the public
like civil servants do
and have all the conditions
that civil servants are due

no extra travel and subsistence
no new homes they can switch
they are voted to serve their constituents
not make themselves bloody rich
