celestial lift

on a celestial eternity lift
to heaven or to hell
surrounded by a host of religious men
destination hard to tell

then a voice it rang out
this heaven is for only one
all religious men held their books aloft
and the arguments begun

while they were arguing whom was right
their validity as not in doubt
no one made a move to leave
so I casualty wandered out

welcome said the lord of lords
in heaven you can dwell
and all those religious bigots
will spend their days in hell

so heaven is full of atheists
although it wasn't meant
walking around in disbelief
peaceful and content
