our society is breaking
this we all must halt
I don't know whom to blame
it's surely not my fault?

the corner shop is missing
a cause dear to my heart
I'll start a picket where I shop
at ASDA which is Walmart

nostalgia is so expensive
when your trying to be frugal
I buy what has been advertised
on Amazon E Bay and Google

I try not to be swayed
by the adverts on TV
but can sing the catchy tunes
for Shell ESSO and BP

I am individualistic
my style is so complexed
buying off the peg labelled goods
of Nike Gap and Next

with MacDonald's for breakfast
KFC for Sunday treat
so brutal with their employee's
but so caring for their meat

so where is my community
that nostalgic memory
behind the glitz and glamour
of the sweatshop economy
